Booking & pricing
How is freight priced?
Pricing depends on pickup and delivery locations, weight, dimensions (cubic weight), the number of items and any special handling, such as a tail-lift or booked delivery. We confirm the price before pickup.
How quickly can you deliver?
Timeframes depend on the pickup and delivery locations, and your quote confirms the delivery window.
Do you offer business accounts?
Regular customers can apply for an account, subject to approval.
Do you charge a fuel levy?
Like most transport companies, our rates may include a fuel levy that moves with diesel prices. Any levy is shown on your quote.
Freight & delivery
How should I prepare pallets?
Use sound pallets, keep freight within the pallet footprint, shrink-wrap the load and label every pallet with the delivery address and consignment number.
Do you carry dangerous goods?
Some classes of dangerous goods can be carried with the correct paperwork. Please tell us the UN number and class when you request a quote.
Is my freight insured?
Carrier liability is limited. We recommend arranging transit insurance for valuable goods, and we can talk you through the options when you book.
What happens if nobody is there to receive the delivery?
The driver will call the receiver. If the delivery cannot be completed, the freight returns to the depot and a redelivery can be booked. Extra charges may apply.
Tracking
Where do I find my consignment number?
It is on the booking confirmation email and on the consignment label attached to your freight.
My freight shows no update. What should I do?
Updates appear once your freight is picked up and scanned. If there is still no update well after pickup, please contact us.
